Santander’s Cultivate Small Business helps early-stage entrepreneurs build and sustain businesses in the food industry, with a focus on woman-, immigrant-, and BIPOC-owned businesses. The program is a completely FREE 12-week mini-MBA that delivers a food-focused curriculum, industry expert advice, and connections to other small business owners. Successful applicants will graduate from the program with a fully formulated business plan and pitch, a strong grasp on their target market, cash flow, financials, growth goals, and up to $20,000 in capital grants.
Our Fall 2024 cohort is open to entrepreneurs in the Dallas, Miami, and Philadelphia areas. Applications are due June 17, 2024.
When is it?
The 12-week virtual program runs from September 5th to November 20th
What do I get?
The program provides:
- live virtual classes taught by Babson College MBA professors
- curriculum built for food business owners
- connections to mentors in the food industry
- a network of fellow food entrepreneurs
- capital grants ranging from $2,500 to $13,000
Can anyone apply?
We are looking for businesses that:
- are woman-, immigrant-, or BIPOC-owned in the food industry
- have been in operation for at least one year as of March 1, 2024
- have revenue between $25,000 and $1,000,000 in the last calendar year
- are located in the Dallas, Miami, or Philadelphia areas
Who runs this?
Cultivate Small Business is fully funded by Santander. The program is a collaboration between Santander, Babson College, ICIC, CommonWealth Kitchen, Dallas College, SBDC -Temple University, & the SBDC at FIU - Miami.
