Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia Opens K-8th Grade Applications & Increased Funding
CSFP has officially opened its 2025 – 2026 application season and will award scholarships to families this year at increased amounts. For the first time since 2022, CSFP scholarship award amounts have increased, giving higher scholarship values for families to attend schools of choice.
CSFP's need-based, K-8th grade scholarships are available for Philadelphia families interested in sending their students to more than 150 tuition-based schools throughout Philadelphia. The updated tier award amounts will total $1,250, $2,500, and $3,350, reflecting incremental updates to the previous tiered amounts. All CSFP students receive scholarships through 8th grade. CSFP will award 2,000 new scholarships to eligible students this year while continuing to support prior recipients. CSFP scholarships are awarded through a random lottery and are available for up to three children per family per year.

Availability of more than 1,000, new, four-year, K-5th grade private/parochial school need-based scholarships
CSFP is pleased to announce that it will be awarding 1,000, new, four-year scholarships, to begin fall 2007. These kindergarten through 8th grade scholarships are need-based, awarded by random lottery and are for Philadelphia residents only. Interested families may apply for a scholarship through March 1, 2007.
Only those families selected as scholarship award winners will be notified by letter in mid-March. Only one scholarship application per family will be accepted.
