The Life Sciences industry in Greater Philadelphia continues to thrive and is poised for exponential growth and leadership in the space. Real estate developers have responded to increased demand by steadily investing in life sciences assets throughout our 11-county region, including more than 7 million square feet of new lab space proposed or under development, co-working space, building conversion, and manufacturing facilities. This rapidly growing portfolio will further position Greater Philadelphia to outpace peer metros in attracting tenants with its state-of-the-art architecture and engineering, built-to-spec lab suites, and competitive rental rates.
Join the Chamber for a dynamic, multi-location event that is the second of its kind and will bring regional leaders together around the topic. This event offers the opportunity to participate virtually or in-person at one of two newly developed life science facility "viewing party" locations. After the program, those attending in-person are invited to take a guided tour of their location of choice and network with fellow attendees. Update: Virtual tickets are still available. In-person tickets are SOLD OUT.
All participants will hear from Joe Colletti, Executive Vice President, Jones Lang LaSalle, with an update and outlook on the real estate developments impacting our region’s life sciences market. Keynote remarks will be followed by flash presentations highlighting two of Philadelphia’s newest developments provided by Pete Cramer, Vice President, Development, Wexford Science + Technology and Kate McNamara Senior Vice President, Navy Yard, PIDC, local organizations driving growth in this space. They will then be joined by Sumit Verma, Senior Vice President, Global Strategic Manufacturing, Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc. and Sharon Willis, Co-Founder, Vice President, Sales and Customer Relations, Integral Molecular for a panel discussion moderated by Kimberly Rojek, Managing Director, Client Services, Slalom Consulting.
