Higher Education Reception: Engaging with Academic Leaders

Embrace the opportunity to interact with top administrators as well as some of the newest talent and leadership in the higher education community. During the past few years, more than 20 new college and university presidents have begun their tenures at higher education institutions throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. You will also have the opportunity to meet your new Chamber President and CEO, Chellie Cameron.  

At this reception hosted by the Regional College and University Presidents’ Alliance, join Alliance co-chairs Dr. Mary Ellen Caro of Peirce College and Dr. Christopher Fiorentino of West Chester University, and fellow business and higher education leaders for networking, conversation, and the potential to make new contacts in this rapidly evolving academic space.

More about the Regional College and University Presidents' Alliance:

The Regional College & University Presidents’ Alliance, an initiative of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia's CEO Council for Growth, is a group of over 40 presidents of colleges and universities throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. The Presidents’ Alliance meets three times per year in a peer-to-peer format, allowing presidents to discuss their highest-level priorities and key challenges. The combined efforts of the Chamber, the CEO Council for Growth, and the Presidents’ Alliance provide opportunities for collaboration, collective advocacy on issues critical to education, and the cultivation of new relationships between business and higher education leaders.

Health & Safety Policy:
The Chamber will take precautions to ensure the health & safety of our guests, abiding guidelines set by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) along with state and local laws. Only those who are vaccinated are permitted to attend. If anyone is sick or suspects they have COVID, the person is asked to not attend.

Registration/Cancellation Policy:
Pre-registration is necessary and payment is required upon registration. No refunds will be given one week prior to program/event. Substitutions may be made with at least 24-hour notice. For live events, walk-ins cannot be accommodated at this time. Tickets will be held at the door and reserved seating for tables of 10 only. For virtual programs, links are sent to pre-registered guests 24 hours prior to program/event via Outlook.

Attendee Policy:
Chamber programs/events are privately sponsored events with a structured format. No demonstrations or other disruptions will be tolerated. Violation of this policy may result in the attendee's removal from the premises or virtual program/event without refund, in addition to possible legal remedies.

Photo Policy:
Your registration constitutes permission to use photos, audio, and video recording taken of you at the event for promotional purposes in connection with the Chamber and its Councils.
