[Virtual] Region on the Rise: Building in a Recovering Economy

Thursday, April 29, 2021
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

January 2020 saw record levels of investment in the engineering and construction industry, with a bright outlook for the rest of the year. Then came the COVID-19 crisis, and as with many sectors, the industry took a hit, essentially losing two years of GDP gains across the US. Now over a year later, projects and development plans across the Greater Philadelphia region, and the potential to leverage federal stimulus dollars, provide a bright outlook for a post-pandemic future.

Join a conversation with regional developers and construction industry leaders to gain insight into innovative designs and solutions for post-pandemic activity that will support our region’s recovering economy for years to come. Industry experts will tackle the questions that remain around office and retail segments while exploring how the industrial and warehousing sectors are driving this economic growth. Attendees will gain insight into the future of the construction and real estate market and learn how our region can use these opportunities to ensure equity in a recovering economy.
