Join an in-depth conversation with Pennsylvania’s first female Senate Majority Leader. Senator Kim Ward represents the 39th Senatorial District in Westmorland County. Leader Ward will present the Senate’s legislative agenda for the spring, efforts to address the COVID-19 pandemic, and the ongoing budget discussions among other pressing issues.

Majority Leader, Pennsylvania Senate
Sen. Ward currently serves as the Senate Majority Leader for the Senate of Pennsylvania, the first woman ever to serve as Majority Leader in either the Pennsylvania House or Senate. Sen. Ward’s legislative accomplishments include laws reducing spending on state subsidized methadone treatment transportation; implementing the federal E-Verify program to ensure workers on publicly funded construction projects were legally permitted to work; and re-authorizing the emergency services grant program.

Registration/Cancellation Policy:
Pre-registration is necessary and payment is required upon registration. No refunds will be given one week prior to program/event. Substitutions may be made with at least 24-hour notice. For live events, walk-ins cannot be accommodated at this time. Tickets will be held at the door and reserved seating for tables of 10 only. For virtual programs, links are sent to pre-registered guests 24 hours prior to program/event via Outlook.
Attendee Policy:
Chamber programs/events are privately sponsored events with a structured format. No demonstrations or other disruptions will be tolerated. Violation of this policy may result in the attendee's removal from the premises or virtual program/event without refund, in addition to possible legal remedies.
Photo Policy:
Your registration constitutes permission to use photos, audio, and video recording taken of you at the event for promotional purposes in connection with the Chamber and its Councils.
