218th Annual Meeting

Friday, October 05, 2018
7:30 AM – 9:30 AM

The Chamber’s Annual Meeting is one of the region’s largest gatherings of executives, elected officials, business owners, and civic leaders. Hear about our top priorities and vision for doing business in the region from Chamber President & CEO, Rob Wonderling, outgoing Board Chairman, John Fry, President, Drexel University, and incoming Board Chairman, Daniel J. Hilferty, President & CEO, Independence Blue Cross.

This year's keynote speaker is Adena T. Friedman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nasdaq, Inc. Friedman, who is ranked in the top 20 of Forbes' The World's 100 Most Powerful Women, will be featured in conversation with President Amy Gutmann, University of Pennsylvania, who was named one of Fortune’s World’s 50 Greatest Leaders.

About the Keynote Speaker:
Friedman brings more than 20 years of industry leadership and expertise to Nasdaq and is credited with significant contributions that shaped their strategic transformation to a leading global exchange and technology solutions company with operations on six continents.

In her previous role as President and Chief Operating Officer of Nasdaq, she was responsible for overseeing all of the company’s business segments with a focus on driving efficiency, product development, growth, and expansion.

As President, Friedman oversees the technology, information, and corporate businesses that comprised over two-thirds of Nasdaq’s revenues.
