Join the Arts + Business Council, a Council of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia in bringing the business, legal, technology, and creative communities together for an event on advancing more inclusive cities, and urban economies, capable of ensuring growth and prosperity for all, featuring Richard Florida, Director, Martin Prosperity Institute at the University of Toronto, Global Research Professor, New York University and Co-Founder and Senior Editor, The Atlantic CityLab.

Cities remain the most powerful economic engines the world has ever seen. In recent years, the young, educated, and affluent have surged back into cities, reversing decades of suburban flight and urban decline. And yet all is not well. The same forces that power the growth of the world's superstar cities also generate their vexing challenges: gentrification, un-affordability, segregation, and inequality. The only way forward is to devise a new model of urbanism that encourages innovation and wealth creation while generating good jobs, raised living standards, and a better way of life for everyone. **VIP Tickets include premier seating and access to a post-event book signing with Richard Florida.**

This event is presented in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia's Roadmap for Growth. The Roadmap for Growth is a multiyear initiative led by the Chamber to pursue a shared agenda across the city that seeks to improve the city’s economic and civic life. It is driven by the Roadmap for Growth Action Team, a diverse group of Chamber members led by Comcast Corporation’s David L. Cohen and The Philadelphia Foundation’s Pedro A. Ramos. Through partnering with neighborhood and civic groups, the action team identifies tangible ways for communities, businesses and the public sector to partner on identifying priorities and effecting change through diversity and inclusion, community involvement and a cohesive sense of urgency.
