Cost-of-living, job availability, and access to essential amenities like transportation, housing, and leisure are critical factors driving population growth and workforce retention.  These elements not only shape overall quality of life, but are deeply interconnected, forming the backbone of Greater Philadelphia’s economic vitality.

Infrastructure and transportation networks provide access to job hubs, educational institutions, leisure options, and residential areas, all of which support a thriving community.  Their importance to the economic health of the Greater Philadelphia region and the quality of life for its residents, students, and employees cannot be overstated.

Given the systemic challenges brought on by an underfunded transit system and shifting population trends, a crucial question arises: how can the business community lead Greater Philadelphia toward a future with enhanced economic and social outcomes for all?

Our fall Civic Issues Forum will explore how coordinated development can enhance livability, support economic growth, and ensure a thriving future for all who live, work, and play in Greater Philadelphia.

Join us to discover how the intersection of transportation, housing, amenities, and vitality can forge a brighter and more inclusive future for Greater Philadelphia. We will engage in a meaningful discussion around innovative solutions to support regional growth and explore the importance of continued coordination across state lines, city and county boundaries, employment sectors, and between public and private entities in driving our region's success.

Valerija Beares, Greater Philadelphia Market Leader, CBRE
