Apprenticeship Accelerator Series: Leveraging the Strength of Group Sponsorships

Thursday, June 20, 2024
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Join us for the next event in our Apprenticeship Accelerator Series: Leveraging the Strength of Group Sponsorships, hosted in partnership with ApprenticeshipPHL* on Thursday, June 20th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia (200 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19102). This series is designed to help employers overcome skilled worker challenges by upskilling through apprenticeship. Previous Accelerators introduced employers to the apprenticeship model, provided innovative examples of how programs are designed and built, and explored how employers can build internal capacity to successfully launch an apprenticeship program.

Leveraging the Strength of Group Sponsorships will focus on the group sponsorship model. Group sponsorships allow employers to tap into the collective resources of a network of employers with similar talent needs, reducing administrative burden and expanding capacity for running effective apprenticeship program. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with current group sponsors and other apprenticeship experts to learn more about building a sustainable talent pipeline.

*ApprenticeshipPHL, led by Philadelphia Works, is a public/private collaborative that supports the expansion of Registered Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia County.
