Sebastián Piñera, former President of the Republic of Chile. We invite you to stand with American communities as the World Affairs Council presents its 2013 Atlas Award in recognition of, and gratitude to, the men and women who so bravely respond when disaster strikes. The Council invites these heroes to be guests as we pay tribute to those who serve our communities. This unique event will acknowledge the sacrifices First Responders make. A donation will be made to the Newtown Lions Club Foundation – Fund to Benefit the Victims and First Responders of the Sandy Hook Elementary School and to Delaware Valley First Responders’ charities. CT Gov. Dannel Malloy will accept the 2013 Atlas Award on behalf of all First Responders.
