Join the Police Athletic League (PAL) in the 34th annual PAL Night at the Phillies, taking place on Wednesday, August 8, 2012, as the Phillies take on the Atlanta Braves. This high visibility Major League Baseball game provides exposure for event sponsors, as well as a professional baseball game experience for hundreds of PAL youngsters. Sponsors receive many benefits and once-in-a-lifetime experiences that cannot be purchased by the general public, including the chance to play in and/or officiate the Sponsor & Media Softball Game on the field at Citizens Bank Park. PAL Night at the Phillies is a unique opportunity to promote your company’s message to thousands of fans at the game and millions of others enjoying the game on TV or radio. You can feel proud that your sponsorship will help one of Philadelphia's most established and well-regarded non-profit youth development organizations. • 2nd Annual PAL Denim Week

Posted on 11/11/2011 by Ms. Jo Elkes of Police Athletic League of Philadelphia

Join the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia in its second annual PAL Denim Week, a dress-down effort benefiting PAL’s youth constituency. Participants in this fundraiser simply donate $5 or $10 to PAL, which then allows them to dress in casual attire for a designated day during the week of January 16th – 20th, 2012 in their respective places of business.

Since 1947, PAL has helped youngsters overcome challenges and enhance their skills in free, safe and fun environments. Twenty-six PAL centers provide safe havens in which thousands of girls and boys, ages 6-18, meet, play and learn. All PAL facilities and programs are made available completely FREE OF CHARGE to youth and are supervised by trained, on-duty Philadelphia Police Officers.

PAL needs your support! Participating in PAL Denim Week is easy and fun. For more information or to involve your office in this project, please contact Jo Elkes at jelkes@phillypal.com, or (215) – 291-9000, ext. 115.
