First Up seeks to create a more equitable early childhood education (ECE) system that improves the educational and developmental outcomes for all young children in Southeastern Pennsylvania. We work closely with up to 6,000 ECE professionals whose work reaches 50,000 young children each year. Our work has taken on heightened importance as the COVID-19 pandemic persists, and as we assist ECE providers to safely and effectively operate their programs for in-person learning while responding to the varied health, and social and emotional needs of students and teachers during this time
