Since 1921, Nationalities Service Center (NSC) has been providing translation and interpretation services to immigrants, refugees, and others from all over the globe right here in Philadelphia. Today we also serve businesses nonprofits, government agencies, and individuals on projects of every size, scope, and subject. Our Center City office is an important touch point for Philadelphians of all backgrounds, and our roots in the community go deep. We offer both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation in more than 150 languages. In addition we provide culturally appropriate, punctual, and meticulous translations in a variety of formats. We work with clients in medical and pharmaceutical industries, technology, marketing and advertising, education, the legal system, government agencies, and non-profits, to name a few. NSC services include: Translation Interpretation Transcription Editing and Proofreading The best translators and interpreters in the field believe in us and want to be a part of what we do, so our quality is excellent. And because our main mission as an organization is to help immigrants and refugees, our rates are very affordable.     On June 16th from 8:15 to 9:15 NSC will be hosting a free breakfast. The breakfast will be informal but informative. We will discuss some of our recent initiatives and success stories, and engage in dialogue about how our work supports immigrants while building a stronger Philadelphia and region. We will serve bagels and pastries, coffee and tea.

    We know that we couldn’t be successful without the support of the many individuals and organizations in the area who contribute to our work. Please join us to learn more about our mission and services, and learn the different ways you can be involved.

    Join Nationalities Service Center at the White Manor Country Club, whose renovated course was designed by the renowned Bobby Weed, for a golf event to celebrate 90 years of working to improve the lives of immigrants and refugees by helping them become socially and economically self-sufficient and engaged members of our community. NSC helps refugees and immigrants become independent, contributing members of American society through legal help, English classes, health care and social services, and job placement services. NSC clients are helping to keep Philadelphia and the region strong and vibrant.

    Nationalities Service Center is partnering with Urban Momentum, Premier Brand Group and OnlyUp to provide you with an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of Philadelphia's newest residents while forging relationships with other connectors, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, and movers and shakers in the Philadelphia area.

    All proceeds will benefit NSC's refugee resettlement efforts and will be used to provide household goods, clothing, furniture, culturally and ethnically appropriate food and school supplies to recently arrived refugees.

    Nationalities Service Center welcomes members of the Philadelphia area to join us in celebrating our Global Tastes fundraising event. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to participate in this exceptional event held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Penn Museum of Philadelphia.

    Joining together to celebrate the diversity of the world’s flavors will be twenty to twenty-five of Philadelphia’s culinary talents specializing in ethnic cuisine. In addition to great food, Global Tastes will also offer lively music, creative cocktails, international wines and some of the greatest beers from local Philly breweries.
